Happy Arbor Day!

Sound Check at Waterloo Park’s Moody Amphitheater

As construction nears completion at Waterloo Park, scheduled to open later this summer, we will begin installing and testing sound equipment at the new Moody Amphitheater. The audio tests will take place intermittently during the day on Saturday, April 10, and on Sunday, April 11.

Waterloo Greenway Announces Interim CEO Kathy Miller

Waterloo Greenway today announced the appointment of Kathy Miller as interim CEO to guide the organization forward as former CEO Peter Mullan departs for a new role as Chief of Architecture and Urban Design for the Austin Transit Partnership (ATP). Miller began her post with the Conservancy on March 15, previously serving as Executive Director of the Texas Freedom Network for 16 years.

Restoring Waller Creek at Waterloo Park

It takes a village to bring Waterloo Greenway to life and renew the ecology of Waller Creek from 15th Street to Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin. At the northern end of Waterloo Park, creek restoration continues thanks to a collaborative effort between the City of Austin’s Watershed Protection Department (WPD), Parks and Recreation Department, and us, the Waterloo Greenway Conservancy.
