Programming and Events Manager

WGC is seeking a motivated and experienced Programming and Events Manager to play a key role in creating and producing high-quality public programs throughout the Waterloo Greenway (WG) park district. This person will be a hands-on event coordinator with a knack for logistics and keen attention to detail supporting public engagement through events and programming for WG community and ticketed events in the Waterloo Park Moody Amphitheater and additional programming in WG spaces including signature events such as Creek Show. This position reports to the Director of Programming.

Director of Development/Major Gifts

As a key member of Waterloo Greenway’s fundraising team, the Director of Development / Major Gifts will lead fundraising strategies focused on major gifts and capital campaign initiatives that fuel the continued growth of the 35-acre urban park system connecting Austin through nature, art, and community.

Director of Annual Giving

The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for the strategic leadership, planning, management, and execution of Waterloo Greenway’s signature fundraising events and annual giving programs, serving as a key driver of philanthropic revenue and community engagement. Reporting to and working directly with the VP of Development this role leads the development and execution of event fundraising strategy, the engagement of host committee and volunteers, the event budget creation and adherence in alignment with the organization’s annual revenue and expense goals, and the management of event production contractors.

Operations Crew Member – Moody Amphitheater (Part-Time, Seasonal)

The Operations Crew Member position exercises overall responsibility for hands-on event operations, including setup and teardown, ensuring the venue and all related events operate at the highest standards and within the scope of WGC policies and procedures. This position is critical to developing and maintaining excellent operational standards for Waterloo Greenway and Moody Amphitheater and maintaining the facilities and park-grounds at the highest level of quality and safety possible. This position supports ongoing venue, event production, and park operations.

Capital Projects Coordinator

The Capital Projects Coordinator, in partnership with the Director of Capital Projects and Chief Planning and Design Officer, is responsible for ensuring that the Waterloo Greenway design is executed at the highest level and fulfills the aspirations established by the organization through the Design Competition and City of Austin-approved Design Plan.

Working in collaboration with City of Austin staff, the Capital Projects Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that capital projects are executed on schedule and on budget. The Coordinator will monitor the design and construction for issues related to successful long term park maintenance and operations. The Coordinator is a vocal advocate for the design vision and needs of the organization in meetings and communications about the capital project. The Capital Projects Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Capital Projects.
