Waterloo Greenway Conservancy today announced the full programming lineup for the highly anticipated grand reopening of Waterloo Park and debut of the world-class Moody Amphitheater.

In partnership with the City of Austin, the Conservancy will commemorate August 14th with CommUNITY Day — a free, family-friendly festival with dozens of activations and live multi-cultural performances, all in the reimagined 11-acre downtown park.

Waterloo Park & Moody Amphitheater Scheduled to Open August 2021

In partnership with the City of Austin, Waterloo Greenway Conservancy today announced that the highly-anticipated Waterloo Park and Moody Amphitheater will open to the public in August 2021.

Creek Show 2019

Creek Show, now in its sixth year, is a free, open-to-the-public display of light-based art installations along Waller Creek in downtown Austin. Come walk along Waller Creek between 9th St. and 12th St. to view the art designed to bring attention to the future revitalization of Waller Creek and its transformation into a series of urban parks. This family-friendly event attracted over 50,000 visitors from all over Austin last year.
