Free Family-Friendly Events Include Healthy Living, Arts & Culture, and Educational Activities
We’re thrilled to announce the return of our weekly series of no-cost family-friendly community programs at Waterloo Park this fall, in collaboration with Austin-based organizations, artists, and performers.
Located in the heart of downtown Austin, Waterloo Park is a central hub of activity featuring more than 1.5 miles of scenic trails, thousands of native plants, imaginative playscapes, and the 5,000-capacity Moody Amphitheater. The 11-acre greenspace is a public park, reimagined and rebuilt in partnership with the City of Austin, and is open daily from 5am-10pm for everyone to explore and enjoy.
“This fall, we can’t wait to celebrate the return of cooler weather and beloved Waterloo Park programs like Weekly Workouts, Día de los Muertos, and Creek Show,” said Jesús Aguirre, CEO of Waterloo Greenway. “All Waterloo Greenway community programming is free and open for all to enjoy – grab your friends and family and come join us at Waterloo Park soon.”
“What better way to connect our community to the outdoors than fun park programming that you can enjoy with your whole family, friends, and pets,” said Dave Mead, CMO and Co-Founder of Rambler Sparkling Water. “At Rambler, we partner with like-minded programs across the country that further the conservation of natural areas in our backyard and yours for future generations.”
