This Earth Day, discover the latest construction progress at Waterloo Park and learn about its many eco-friendly design features!

With 11 acres of greenspace, 1.5 miles of trails, stunning Hill Country Gardens, the Moody Amphitheater and so much more to explore, Waterloo Park will soon become a natural haven for Austinites to enjoy the outdoors, gather with friends and build community.

Created by over 100 students at the University of Texas at Austin, the Creek Monster Habitat is an immersive public art installation designed to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the Waller Creek Watershed.

The exhibit is now open for public viewing at the intersection of 24th St. and San Jacinto Blvd. through May 9.

Set to open in spring 2021, Waterloo Park will be home to 1.5 miles of hike-and-bike trails, stunning Hill Country gardens, imaginative playscapes, and the 5,000-capacity Moody Amphitheater.
