Across nine nights, ten light-based installations created by local artists will transform the downtown landscape into an immersive celebration of creativity, connection, and community. A full list of participating artists and art renderings is viewable here. Creek Show will be ticketed in 2026, with proceeds benefiting Waterloo Greenway Conservancy and its mission to create and maintain a 35-acre urban park system in partnership with the City of Austin.

Past Deposits from a Future Yet to Come
On Display Nightly | Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park
Buttons, marbles, coins, keys, and other historic artifacts free fall in a choreographed, rhythmic parade in Past Deposits from a Future Yet to Come by Teresa Hubbard / Alexander Birchler. This public video art installation explores the ways in which these objects connect us to Austin’s past, present, and future, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of people who once lived and worked along the creek in the mid-19th to mid-20th centuries. The installation is free and open to the public.
In addition to its fall programming, Waterloo Greenway will host its signature fundraiser, Glow in the Park, on October 8 from 6-10 p.m. at Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park. The casual-glam affair brings guests together for a lively evening of signature cocktails, a gourmet dinner, decadent desserts, and the opportunity to bid on exclusive travel packages and one-of-a-kind experiences led by renowned auctioneer Lydia Fenet, live music, and more. Proceeds from the evening go toward keeping Waterloo Greenway flourishing and Austin’s greenspaces vibrant for all, and provide the framework for the incredible free family-friendly events that make their Spring and Fall programming possible. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are still available.
