Waterloo Greenway’s Annual Pop-Up Picnic Returns on April 1, 2023

Signature Curated Baskets from Austin’s Top Restaurants Now On Sale

AUSTIN, TX – March 6, 2023 – Waterloo Greenway announces the return of its signature Pop-Up Picnic fundraiser on Saturday, April 1 from 6-10PM, supporting its year-round free public programming. Beginning today, supporters can purchase a variety of delicious picnic baskets from beloved Austin restaurants.

All are invited to enjoy an evening of family fun, delectable desserts, craft cocktails, and live music. Pop-Up Picnic is free to attend and guests are also welcomed to bring their own spreads from home. All event proceeds will help keep Waterloo Park beautiful and support Waterloo Greenway’s free, family-friendly events all year long.

Chefs from many of Austin’s most beloved restaurants will curate picnic basket dinners for two. Participating restaurants include: Antonelli’s Cheese Shop, Bananarchy, Franklin Barbecue, Home Slice Pizza, McGuire Moorman Hospitality, Marye’s, Nido at The Loren, Siete Foods, Voodoo Doughnut, and more to be announced. Pop-Up Picnic baskets are now on sale at wgpicnic.com. Purchase raffle tickets online in advance for a chance to win exciting prizes.
