Thank you to everyone who joined us at Glow in the Park this year! Together, we’re building a bright future for Waterloo Greenway and for ALL of Austin.
We are still glowing from the excitement of Glow in the Park, Waterloo Greenway’s annual gala fundraiser and community celebration. What a truly remarkable evening! On Thursday, October 2, 2025, 700 Austinites gathered at Waterloo Park for an evening filled with delicious food by MML Hospitality, a lively auction, soulful sounds from Lamont Landers, and an incredible sense of camaraderie that reminded us all why place matters.
More than just a beautiful night out, the event raised $1.55 million, and counting! These critical funds will keep Waterloo Greenway growing and thriving, supporting operations and maintenance of Waterloo Park, beloved community programs, and the future operations of Phase II, set to open in mid-2026.

The incredible generosity and dedication of so many individuals makes this event possible – sponsors, chairs, host committee members, table hosts, and ticket purchasers. An extra heartfelt thank you goes to our chairs – Lynn and Tom Meredith and their family. The Meredith family’s longtime commitment to this bold vision for Austin is inspiring!

Every gift helps Waterloo Greenway continue to flourish as a thriving gift for our city, connecting neighborhoods, restoring nature, and creating inspiring public spaces for all Austinites.
Together, we’re building a vibrant green space that connects our community to nature, culture, art, and each other. Thank you to all for supporting Waterloo Greenway’s mission to create, maintain, and activate an urban park system for the benefit of all!
