Two-Step Night Recap

Thank you for a wonderful night of dancing under the stars at Waterloo Park on Saturday, November 8, 2025!

On Saturday evening, hundreds of people gathered on the Moody Amphitheater lawn and stage for fun, music, and dancing! Native Texan Two Step kicked off the event with dance lessons, teaching basic steps, spins, and dips. The friendly team of Native Texan Two Step dancers spread out among the crowd to lend a helpful hand and make sure everyone felt ready to give it a spin.

Once the live band, All Hat No Cadillac, hit the stage, everyone was ready to cut up a rug! The dance floor filled up with cowboy boots dancing the Texas two-step, polka, waltz, swing, and plenty of fun freestyle as well! Dancing pairs spilled over into the lawn as everyone practiced new moves and embraced the beautiful fall evening.

All levels of dancers came out for the event – some who had never tried partner-dancing before, and others who have been hitting up local honky tonks for decades! With events like Two-Step Night, Waterloo Greenway offers a variety of engaging and inspiring events that connect the community to nature, and to each other, promoting health and wellness for all.

Stay tuned for our next dance night at Waterloo Park! In the meantime, be sure to make your way to some local honky-tonks to keep honing your skills. Follow Native Texan Two Step and be inspired! They host a wide variety of dance events across town. And be sure to follow All Hat No Cadillac to catch an upcoming show!

Two-Step Night is made possible at no cost to the community thanks to our generous sponsors!
