This weekend, we wrapped up another amazing Creek Show, with a record-breaking 50,000 Austinites enjoying locally produced light-based art along Waller Creek!
Featuring family-friendly fun for all ages, the event offered a glimpse into the future of Waller Creek and what an active and inclusive green space will mean our community.
Visitors experienced innovative installations and snapped thousands of pics while enjoying live music, a Kid Zone, and interactive activities. Waller Creek – and the newly renovated Symphony Square – were once again alive with the spirit of Austin.

We have big plans for the next Creek Show and expanding our free community programming in 2019 and we need you to make it happen! Help us raise $30,000 by December 31 to light up the creek with free, inspiring, and engaging events.

ABOUT CREEK SHOW
Presented by Waller Creek Conservancy, Creek Show is an outreach program designed to surprise and delight audiences with outstanding light based art installations that celebrate, support, and educate the community on the importance and impact transforming Waller Creek will have on Austin’s social, cultural, and ecological future. Launched in 2014 as a one night event, Creek Show has grown in popularity each year with an estimated 50,000 attendees visiting in 2018.
