Support the City of Austin’s Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights

Friends of Waller Creek:

The Austin Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with the Cities Connecting Children to Nature Initiative, created Austin’s Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights. This resolution will be brought to City Council for their vote and adoption on November 10 and we encourage you to show your support.

Research shows that children who have regular interaction with nature are more likely to be healthier, happier, and perform better in school. All children in Austin deserve to be able to connect with nature. A restored Waller Creek will increase and enhance those opportunities.

Show your support for Austin’s Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights by signing the pledge today!
