Featuring outdoor movies, educational series, and Pride Month celebration
Austin, TX — May 10, 2023 – Waterloo Greenway continues its free community offerings with a lineup of exciting events coming to Waterloo Park starting this June.
The summer kicks off with the return of Waterloo Greenway’s annual Pride Month celebration, followed by a series of community-centered conversations, weekly children’s STEM programs presented in partnership with local organizations, and outdoor movies at Moody Amphitheater.
Located in the heart of downtown Austin along a restored Waller Creek, Waterloo Park is a central hub of activity featuring more than 1.5 miles of scenic trails, thousands of native plants, imaginative playscapes and the 5,000-capacity Moody Amphitheater. The 11-acre greenspace is a public park, restored in partnership with the City of Austin, and is open daily from 5am-10pm for everyone to explore and enjoy.
“When you’re looking for your next summer adventure, we hope you come visit Waterloo Park at one of our upcoming free fun family-friendly events,” said Jesús Aguirre, CEO of Waterloo Greenway. “We’re committed to creating a welcoming space that celebrates everyone in our community.”
