In May, Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park was awarded a USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice Award for Best Amphitheater in the U.S.

Anchored by our C3/Live Nation Concert Series, we also had the honor of hosting Billboard’s The Stage at SXSW shows in March, Austin Blues Festival presented by Antone’s in April, and Austin Urban Music & Cultural Festival in September, reinforcing our venue’s role as a premier destination for some of Austin’s most iconic festivals.

Waterloo Greenway also hosts community programming at the amphitheater that features favorite local bands, musicians, and DJs, such as at our Two-Step Nights, Día de los Muertos, and other special events. Thanks to the generosity of community-minded sponsors, these programs are presented at no cost to the community and are accessible to all. Sign up for our newsletter to stay up-to-date in 2026!

Community Ticket Giveaway

Our commitment to accessibility remained strong through our Community Ticket Giveaway program, which provides 100 free tickets to every concert at Moody Amphitheater through a unique partnership between Waterloo Greenway Conservancy, C3 Presents, and Live Nation. This initiative ensures that live music remains accessible to all Austinites, regardless of their circumstances. Entry forms were published two weeks before every concert, with winners randomly selected and notified one week before each show.

Food & Beverage

Throughout the year, FBR Management handled food and beverage concessions during concerts, ensuring fans were well-fed and refreshed throughout their experience. Additionally, The Peached Tortilla’s Asian fusion inspired offerings added authentic Austin flavor to the concert experience.

Elevated Experiences

For those looking to take their concert experience to the next level, our premium offerings delivered unparalleled comfort and exclusivity. The Rooftop Terrace provided premium concert guests with private elevated views of the park, a rooftop lounge, and misting fans in a VIP environment. Premium Seat Holders enjoyed dedicated parking, an exclusive entrance, comfortable furnishings, private bars, and the air-conditioned PNC Lounge with private restrooms.

A Park for Everyone

More than just a concert venue, Waterloo Park offers 11 acres of revitalized green space, hike-and-bike trails, stunning Hill Country Gardens, and multiple gathering spaces for park visitors and passers-through. Unlike other major entertainment venues, parkgoers can picnic, play, or perform on the stage when it’s not being used for concerts and events, making Moody Amphitheater a true community space that serves Austin year-round.

We want to give a HUGE shout-out to Waterloo Greenway’s Park Operations team for impeccable maintenance of the lawns, trees, and the green spaces surrounding Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park! The lower amphitheater lawn received major maintenance and care in August and again in December.

And we are so grateful for our friendly Waterloo Park Ambassadors who help keep the park clean and safe, thanks to our partnership with the Downtown Austin Alliance. Providing general park information, local insider tips, and beautification services, our ambassadors help us make Waterloo Greenway and all of downtown Austin a welcoming place for everyone to enjoy!

In August our Park Operations team and Park Ambassadors were honored with a certificate of appreciation by Austin Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) Community PARKnerships!

Looking Ahead

As a program of Waterloo Greenway Conservancy – the nonprofit organization that operates and maintains Waterloo Park and Moody Amphitheater – we’re grateful to our partners at C3 Presents and Live Nation Entertainment for bringing world-class talent to our stage. Together, we’re building on Waterloo Park’s rich legacy as a gathering place for authentic Austin experiences.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in 2025. Here’s to another incredible year of music, community, and magic under the Texas sky in 2026!
