On this very special day dedicated to trees, we’re taking a look back at the 150-ton heritage live oak that was relocated from the State Capitol Complex to Waterloo Park in 2019, thanks to a partnership between the State of Texas, the City of Austin, and Waterloo Greenway.
This feat was a giant leap in the development of a reimagined Waterloo Park, set to open this summer.
