Free Weekly Workouts at Waterloo Park Presented by Castle Hill Fitness

Waterloo Greenway and Castle Hill Fitness Launch Weekly Workouts at Waterloo: A Community Strength & Movement Collaboration

Waterloo Greenway is partnering with local Austin gym, Castle Hill Fitness, to offer a series of free community fitness classes at the newly reopened Waterloo Park this fall.

This new collaboration, called Weekly Workouts at Waterloo, will kick off this Labor Day with a full day’s schedule of free yoga and fitness classes led by Castle Hill Fitness, along with other local fitness partners.

The Free Day of Yoga & Fitness event begins Monday, September 6 at 9:00 a.m. on the Love, Tito’s Lawn at Moody Amphitheater, located at 1401 Trinity Street. Participants are encouraged to register in advance on Castle Hill Fitness’ website and to bring a mat to class.

Free Day of Yoga & Fitness Schedule:
● 9:00 a.m. – Hatha Yoga for All with Castle Hill Fitness
● 10:00 a.m. – Mindful Breathwork with Castle Hill Fitness
● 11:00 a.m. – Buti Yoga hosted by Everybody Studios
● 6:30 p.m. – Yoga & Sound: Yin & Harp with Castle Hill Fitness
● 7:30 p.m – Tango & Milonga (Dance Party) with Esquina Tango

Weekly Workouts at Waterloo will continue through November 3 and feature three movement sessions each week: Yoga & Sound on Mondays at 6:30 p.m., Workout Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., and Sunday Moves at 10:00 a.m. All sessions will be held on the Love, Tito’s Lawn at Moody Amphitheater and be free and open to the public. People of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate.

Sign up for an account, read full program details, and RSVP on the Castle Hill Fitness or Waterloo Greenway websites. Participants do not need to be Castle Hill Fitness members, and walk ups are welcome.

goal is to bring Austinites together to experience the benefits of movement, and we are
honored to do so at the incredible spaces in Waterloo Park.”

Waterloo Park visitors are encouraged to follow all local, state and CDC COVID-19 health and
safety guidelines
. Social distancing will be observed at all Weekly Workouts, and facemasks are
encouraged at all Waterloo Greenway community events when social distancing is not possible.
