Movies in the Park: Pride Edition
Celebrate the start of Austin Pride Week with community, music, and film at Waterloo Greenway! Bring your blankets and picnic setup to relax on the Moody Amphitheater lawn and enjoy a summer evening featuring a live set by DJ Eriq Stylez, family-friendly activities, community partners, and delicious food and drinks available for purchase.
At 9pm, settle in for a free outdoor screening of the classic Death Becomes Her (1992, PG-13). Austin Pride will also take the stage to officially kick off Pride Week and share what’s in store leading up to the Austin Pride Parade on Saturday, August 22. Guests can enter for a chance to win tickets to an upcoming concert at the Moody Amphitheater.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from YAPA Artisan Empanadas, Mom & Pops All Natural Frozen Pops, and Waterloo Greenway concessions including alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Please note that outside alcohol is not permitted, and bags may be checked upon entry.
Street parking and nearby parking garages are available near Waterloo Park. Public transit and ridesharing are encouraged. Visit CapMetro to plan your trip.
This event is available at no cost to the community thanks to generous sponsors, Downtown Austin Alliance and Waterloo Sparkling Water, and is presented in partnership with Austin Pride, with promotional support from aGLIFF.
