Waterloo Greenway is proud to support free inclusive family-friendly programming at Waterloo Park. Rainbow on the Creek was curated and produced by Waterloo Greenway Conservancy, in partnership with community organizations. Event sponsors were not involved in the production or planning of the day’s activities.
On Saturday, June 11, 2022, thousands of Austinites gathered at Waterloo Park to celebrate Pride Month. Our free community event featured over 25 activations by local LGBTQIA+ nonprofits and partners, live music, dance and drag performances by local artists and performers, a Queer BIPOC and Latinx marketplace curated by Frida Friday ATX, family-friendly activities sponsored by Google, and headlining performances by Roxxxy Andrews and Gina Chavez.
Waterloo Greenway is proud to be a safe, inclusive, and welcoming green space for ALL to enjoy. We take pride in connecting and uplifting Austin-area LGBTQIA+ resources and communities through our free, year-round programming.
