Thank you to all the families who joined us for Wild Wednesdays at Waterloo Park this summer!
We’re proud to have presented this weekly event series with our partners at Families in Nature, a local nonprofit whose vision is to inspire ALL families to fall in love with nature and foster the next generation of conservationists in our community. Together, along with support from dozens of community organizations and our summer programming sponsors, we were able to host four weeks of free science, nature, and STEM education programs for kids at Waterloo Park from July 12 – August 2, 2023.
From all of us at Waterloo Greenway, thank you for your continued support! We hope these programs were a fun, rewarding experience for you and your families, and we look forward to seeing you all back at the park again soon.

You can download a free copy of The Ecologist School Pocket Guide: Waterloo Park Edition, created in collaboration with Families in Nature to educate our community about the park’s ecosystems, history, and Central Texas biodiversity. The booklet contains 64 hands-on lessons and activities across 16 different branches of sciences to help visitors learn, play, and volunteer throughout the park and in their own communities.
