BBoy City XXVIII Unity Festival
Waterloo Greenway is thrilled to partner with BBoy City, an organization that has led the way for breaking since 1998, to offer a full day of breaking crew battles, DJs, emcees, and street writers at Waterloo Park on September 25.
The breaking event will celebrate Austin Hip Hop history on September 25 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park, produced by Hope 4 Hip Hop and hosted by the Bomberos Brothers.
Shop and support local vendors at Frida Friday ATX‘s signature marketplace on the Love, Tito’s Lawn and enjoy a variety of food and drinks available for purchase at Moody Amphitheater concessions.
Guests can purchase tickets in advance to attend the BBoy City XXVIII Unity Festival, with a $30 weekend pass that includes access to Prelims at The Parish on September 24, or $10 for a one-day pass to attend the Main Event and Finals at Waterloo Park on September 25, and $15 door tickets.
Main Event and Finals Activities:
On September 25, guests can enjoy a full afternoon of exciting crew battles, with judges including Iron Monkey, Moy, and Kuriouz. Renowned local and Texas-based DJs will spin on stage, including Floski, James Boogie, Silent Rob, and Chorizo Funk. Don’t miss an all-star emcee lineup including Grammy-nominated performers Bavu Blakes, Tee Double, Tray God, and Saul Paul. Throughout the afternoon, attendees can also view street art by SLOKE, Louie T, and Kimie Flores.
