In the coming weeks, even more lush grass will be making its way onto the lower lawn that meets the Moody Amphitheater stage. As hundreds of plants continue to settle into their new home, imaginative play structures are being installed in the Kitty King Powell Lawn, nestled between Waterloo Park’s Great Lawn and Hill Country Garden.
Urban landscape architecture firm dwg. has as brought extensive local knowledge to the project team throughout the design process and is now assisting Micheal Van Valkenburgh Associates, Inc. in reviewing plantings, sidewalks, stonework, and many more features throughout Waterloo Park during these final months of construction.
