Since 2021, Waterloo Greenway & East End Eclectic have commissioned a rotating series of murals created by local artists known for their bold, community-centered art.
These murals are more than just colorful additions to Waterloo Park; they celebrate Austin’s diverse cultural heritage and showcase the crucial role Austin’s green spaces play in fostering human connections. East End Eclectic’s work at Waterloo Park is a testament to the power of public art in creating a sense of place and belonging. They also serve as a reminder of the importance of supporting local artists and preserving the cultural vibrancy that makes Austin so unique.
As you stroll through Waterloo Park, take a moment to stop and view the three-sided mural located between the Family Pavilion and Meredith Heritage Tree Deck.
