It’s been an incredible start at Waterloo Greenway, and I cannot wait to see what’s to come in 2022. As I explore Waterloo Park and get to know each of you, I am even more inspired about the road ahead.
I’ve watched Waterloo Greenway from afar for many years and have been inspired by the Austin community’s values, passion, and culture.
My goal is to serve you through my background in parks, programming, and education – to amplify what you have already begun creating – exciting inclusive spaces where everyone in our community can come together. As someone new to Austin today, it’s clear that you are experiencing immense change, and I hope we can work together to make Waterloo Greenway a positive force in creating a more livable, loveable, vibrant city.
We are ready to push the envelope this year and bring you even more music, dance, art, and nature through more community programming, more concerts, AND more parks! That’s right, construction begins on our next phase of parks this fall.
I’m here to support our tremendous staff, board, and partners in realizing our ambitious and powerful vision. There is so much opportunity ahead of us, and I am honored to be on the team. I hope to see you at the park soon!
