Orly Genger. Hurlyburly
Presented by the Waller Creek Conservancy in collaboration with The Contemporary Austin
The outdoor, interactive art installation Hurlyburly, by internationally renowned artist Orly Genger, is now open daily from sunrise to sunset at the Waller Delta, adjacent to the Waller Creek Boathouse (74 Trinity). Created using repurposed lobster rope, Hurlyburly is a massive outdoor piece of painted and hand-knotted rope.
Eat, Shop, and Play on Earth Day!
Give 5% to Mother Earth Day is an annual campaign encouraging Austinites to celebrate Earth Day by giving back to non-profits dedicated to keeping Austin green, clean, and healthy. Austin businesses pledge to donate 5% of their gross sales from Earth Day, April 22, to benefit nine Austin environmental non-profits, including Waller Creek Conservancy! Visit austingive5.org to learn more about the participating businesses.
