Weekly early childhood education series that provides hands-on activities and programs to promote literacy, bilingual storytelling, music, dance, cultural learnings, and nature play. Each week features a different style of play from our partners at the Texas Book Festival, Asian American Resource Center, Monarch Sanctuary Project, Austin Public Library, and more.

Presented in partnership with Asian American Resource Center
World Bollywood Day is a tribute to the splendor of Indian culture and its global influence. Come celebrate the bridging of cultures and share the magic of storytelling, mesmerizing music and a dazzling Bollywood dance performance!
Tuesday, October 1 – Here Come the Heroes
There are superheroes in the movies, shows, and books, but real-life heroes can also be found working hard in your neighborhood! Join Austin’s local heroes and essential workers as they share their stories and read Richard Scarry’s Day at the Fire Station & Day at the Police Station.
Tuesday, October 8 – Waterloo Kiddie Limits
Presented in partnership with Armstrong Community Music School
Enjoy family-friendly storytelling, arts & crafts, live music and sing-a-long with Mr. Will Music featuring Every Little Thing: Based on the song ‘Three Little Birds’ by Bob Marley. Austin Community Music School will lead families in a drum circle featuring song by Bob Marley.
