Discover our growing list of online community resources below and let us know of some of your own!
As the world continues to practice social distancing, communities have quickly and creatively adapted their daily routines. It has become apparent how vital our city’s green spaces and community resources are during these times of uncertainty. People are seeking solace by spending more time outdoors and finding virtual ways to support our friends, families, neighbors, and local businesses.
At Waterloo Greenway, we are adapting to working remotely and using new tools to stay connected with our staff, board, and volunteers. With increased safety precautions in accordance with locally mandated guidelines as well as CDC directives, construction continues at Waterloo Park. We are already looking forward to the time that we can gather again in person and, in the meantime, we’ve got some digital programming in the works. Stay tuned to our social channels for updates as well as new, engaging content that aligns with our mission and focuses around the themes of Community, Arts + Culture, Health + Wellness, and the Environment.
We’d like to hear from you.
At Waterloo Greenway, we’re committed to finding creative ways to advance our mission during the coronavirus pandemic. If you know of any online resources we can share on our blog to support our community in any way, please send us an email.
