Wild Wednesdays – Botany (Plants)
BOTANY
Botany is the study of plants
Waterloo Park is home to a whopping 91,904 plants and 524 trees! More than 95% of the plantings are native to the area and were selected in a collaborative effort between local landscape architects, world-renowned architects, and local botanical garden and arboretum.
Join us as we navigate the native plants at Waterloo Park through hands-on nature exploration and learning through problem-solving, outdoor play, and journal exercises.
Wild Wednesdays take place on the Meredith Heritage Tree Deck at Waterloo Park located at 1301 Trinity St.
